Christmas Buffet

It was wonderful having our first Christmas at The Hoyt House. Everyone enjoyed the house, the food and of course Breakfast. Our cocktail hour has been enhanced since we now have a full bar and our guests enjoyed that Sunday Bloody Mary Special. Can’t wait for next year. We are already putting together an event to remember for 2011. I missed my family and friends in New Jersey and lox and bagel Christmas morning. The dogs got some Christmas treats too. Thank you to all who came to spend Chrsitmas with us and we hope to see you next year.

Ladies Weekend Getaway

Pampered Ladies Weekend

We all need a little pampering and rest. No cooking on this weekend getaway for Ladies Only. Champagne on arrival with an amazing presentation. Munchies basket in your room to satisfy any craving your may have. Friday Night let your pampered package begin at 6 to 9pm with a private Hoyt House only Exclusive opening of Magna’s Spa where you chose two 1/2 hour treatments and enjoy our Champagne Cocktail Party at Magna’s. Pajama’s are required for breakfast on Saturday served from 9-11am.  Take the Amelia Island Sunset River Cruise and then Dinner at Espana where a special menu is created only for the Hoyt House Ladies. Walk to the Fantastic Fudge after dinner and use your coupon to have your favorite Ice Cream or wedge of Fresh Fudge. Minimum of 10 ladies required, so get your friends together and make some new friends at The Hoyt House. All inclusive package including your room  is 495.00 per person for two fun filled nights. (Based on double occupancy). Can accommodate mid week-stay at 15% off your total package.

Valentine’s Day to Remember

The Hoyt House is the place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Love & Romance will be in the air. Start off with a special glass of Champagne and strawberries upon arrival. Dinner on Saturday Night the 13th will be tables of two with a four course love menu. Red will be the theme, Lobster Bisque Soup in Bread Bowls to start. Salad with Edible Flowers in a Raspberry Vinaigrette. Your choice entree of Seafood Pasta or Filet Mignon (choose at time of booking) and to finish the evening with Red Velvet Cake. Coffee and Tea and at 10pm meet us outside for Smore’s over the fire pit. Libations will be available for purchase. We will supply everything but the appetite. Optional in room massage will be available and should be requested at time of booking.  You can always add flowers and special balloons or a carriage ride through the Historic District. Just let us know and we will take care of everything. This is a couples/Adult 25 and over Weekend only. Two Night Minimum required.

New Year’s Eve 2011

Seven pm Cocktail Hour serving  Hot & Cold appetizers Champagne, Wine & Beer

  • Eight pm four Course Dinner at the Hoyt House
  • Soup: Aspragus Soup with White Truffle Oil
  • Salad: Fresh Mozzarella stuffed with Crab Meat topped with Smoked Salmon over greens with a Balsamic Vinigrette

Amelia Island Holiday Home Tours

Docents will be stationed at each home to point out the rich history, architectural features, furnishings, and decorations. Good cheer and tidings of the seasons abound as Victorian carolers will add to the festive experience as they serenade guests with holiday music. Easter Weekend on Amelia Island
