Thanksgiving At The Hoyt House 2012

Traditions are something to be cherished and that is what we do here at The Hoyt House. We all sit around in the Dining Room and each of us takes a turn telling our guests what they are Thankful for. And every year the table ends with tears and smiles.  This is year will be no different and a home cooked meal by Chef Deborah is for our guests only.  Check-In to one our guest chambers where an autumn bouquet of freshly arranged flowers awaits.  Thursday Night and extended cocktail hour and a complimentary glass of white or red wine with dinner is included in this unique experience. We start off with Pumpkin Bisque soup, Fresh micro green salad with dried cranberries, goat cheese and a ginger balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Dinner we will be serving your very own stuffed Rock Cornish Game Hen with wild mushroom stuffing, roasted red potatoes, marinated yams in a golden brown sugar syrup, sauteed baby artichoke hearts served with a butter garlic herb sauce. Crusty breads & rosemary butter. Desert is a special very berry torte with raspberry sorbet.  Sign up for a relaxing carriage through the Historic District and get dropped in town in front of one of 47 restaurants for lunch or dinner.  Christmas 2012 at The Hoyt House

Walk in the front door and enjoy a complimentary glass of strawberries & champagne.   A Holiday Bouquet of flowers and your very own Christmas tree awaits in your guest chambers. A carriage ride around the Historic District is included in your stay. Christmas Eve join us for an extended cocktail hour serving a complimentary glass of beer wine or champagne. The cocktail hour will offer Shrimp Cocktail and Brie En Croute as well as special cheeses, crudity with dips, fruit display and pate. Christmas Day Dinner at the Hoyt House will be an array of traditional favorites.  Part sit down & part buffet is a new twist for The Hoyt House. Our first course will be homemade Turkey Vegetable Soup. Then a Warm Spinach Salad with real Bacon Bits & Egg served with a warm Balsamic Vinaigrette.  A Buffet of Christmas favorites including Roasted Turkey, Salmon En Croute, Mashed Red Potatoes, compote of yams, prunes & peaches, fresh steamed asparagus, Homemade stuffing with onions, cranberries & mushrooms & broccoli with a creamy cheddar cheese sauce. Dessert is special this year.  Want something different for dessert It is Chocolate Christmas Fondue.
