We are pleased to announce that steps from The Hoyt House is our new venture David’ Restaurant & Lounge on November 2, 2012. We are so excited to bring New York quality, customer service and upscale atmosphere to Amelia Island. A true labor of love David’s Restaurant features a private wine room that accommodates up to 14 guests. Also offering a private Chef Table experience. Mahogany woods, tile floor, and a copper coffered ceiling makes for a once in a lifetime dining experience. Our main dining room is a unique flavor of old world and a contemporary relaxed atmosphere. Live Music on the weekends in our comfortable lounge and an impressive wine selection all for your dining pleasure.
For a larger gathering our banquet room holds up to 60 guests for that special event steps from The Hoyt House. Only a 1/2 block away, enjoy your ceremony in our luscious gardens and reception at David’s. Rehearsal dinners or corporate meetings are also welcomed.
From a Brisket Burger to Prime Rib Eyes and Hanger Steaks we can satisfy any appetite. Seafood offerings of English Channel Dover Sole, Fresh Maine Lobster and Poached Salmon are only a few of the many seafood entrees available. Click & MENU 2 and see for yourself the mouthwatering menu compliments of our executive Chef Robert Camp. His culinary style of elegant presentations with southern flair using the best of the best ingredients makes dining at David’s a unique intimate dining experience.
Our Prix Fixe menu is available seven days a week from 5-6:30pm offering a three course special menu for only 35.00 per person. Kayak Amelia has been asking us to come out for an experience. So I finally got the chance today with my kids. To say the least we had a blast. My upper body got a work out and my eyes got a great view of the salt marsh and the animal life. My sons Rob & David were in one Kayak and Megan & I were in separate kayaks. Ray the leader and trainer of the group was awesome. Friendly and engaging but knew how to say things so that everyone understood, even the little ones. Safety first, very cool. The staff was really friendly and very approachable. We got a quick lesson of the road so to speak and were off. A pretty big group on their Eco-Tour and we truly saw a lot. The three hour tour went by pretty quick and at the 1/2 way point we beached the kayaks and Ray passed out fabulous & huge chocolate chip cookies. You could go at your pace and there was always a staff person in front and in back. The Hoyt House will be putting some great outdoor packages together and we will be adding Kayak Amelia as the feature activity. I can’t wait to get out there again, in my own Kayak!
